sponsored slots a month. That's the cap. It's why a placement here isn't wallpaper.

Google Search Console, Mar–Sep 2026; Ahrefs, Sep 2026. Organic visits are in the high hundreds a month and you're welcome to check — we're not selling raw traffic. We're selling the reader who's about to act, and the answer surface that AI assistants already quote.

Who you're in front of

Freelancers, consultants, contractors and small-business owners — the people who actually buy business banking, accounting software, insurance, payroll and formation services, at the point in the week when they're thinking about money.

  • Consultants setting their rates. Our consulting-rates guide alone drew 380,000+ search impressions in six months.
  • People choosing a business bank account. Our fastest-growing cluster, with a five-question account finder that recommends by eligibility.
  • Freelancers chasing payment. Late-fee calculator, payment-terms guides, reminder templates — the getting-paid moment.
  • Trades and specialists. Industry invoice guides for electricians, contractors, designers, translators, tattoo artists and more.

Geography: about 43% United States, then Canada, the UK, India and Australia.

What you get that a link farm can't sell you

Sites that take every offer end up penalised, and a placement on a penalised site is worth exactly nothing. We say no to most inquiries. That's the product.

  • Labelled, always. Every placement says Sponsored and links carry rel="sponsored". We don't sell followed links at any price — ask, and the answer is no.
  • On-topic only. Invoicing, freelancing, small-business finance and the software around it. No gambling, adult, payday loans, crypto trading, or essay mills.
  • Written to our standard. Specific, sourced, useful. It reads like the guides that got us cited 425 times — because it's held to the same bar.
  • Measured. Your link runs through our own redirect. You get a monthly click count you didn't have to take our word for.
  • Capped. Two sponsored placements a month. Scarcity isn't a tactic here; it's how the site stays worth being on.

How it works

  1. 1Email us the client, the URL you want featured, and the goal. Two minutes.
  2. 2Yes or no within two business days, with the page we'd recommend and why.
  3. 3Stripe invoice. Paid upfront; fully refunded if we end up declining the draft or the client.
  4. 4Draft for your approval, then live — labelled, indexed, and reported monthly.

Questions advertisers ask

Do you sell dofollow links?

No. Every paid placement is labelled Sponsored and its links carry rel="sponsored". That protects you as much as us: sites that sell followed links get penalised, and when a site gets penalised every placement on it stops existing. Buy from a site that will still rank next year.

Who actually reads InvoiceBloom?

Freelancers, consultants, contractors and small-business owners at the moment they are billing a client or setting their rates - not browsing, deciding. About 43% are in the US, then Canada, the UK, India and Australia. The biggest single audience is consultants working out what to charge; the fastest-growing is people opening a business bank account.

Can I supply the article?

You can supply a draft, a brief, or nothing at all. Either way we write or edit it to the same standard as the rest of the site - specific, useful, sourced. Readers can tell the difference, and so can the AI assistants that cite us. A placement that reads like an ad earns nothing for either of us.

How long does a placement stay live?

Sponsored articles stay on the site indefinitely and are never deleted. Mentions inside existing guides stay for a minimum of 12 months. Tool sponsorships run for 30 days and can be renewed; each tool has exactly one sponsor at a time.

What do you report?

Every placement link runs through our own redirect, so we count clicks independently of your analytics. You get a monthly note with clicks from your placement and the page's search impressions for the period.

Which clients do you turn down?

Anything off-topic for a freelancer or small-business audience, and anything in gambling, adult, payday or short-term lending, cryptocurrency trading, or essay-writing. If we would not recommend it to a reader without being paid, we will not recommend it when paid. We also cap sponsored placements at two a month, so a yes from us means something.
