Terms of Service for InvoiceBloom.io

Effective Date: February 04, 2026

Welcome to InvoiceBloom.io (the "Service"), operated by Invoice Bloom ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Invoice Bloom. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or via email (if you have provided an email address). Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Invoice Bloom provides a web-based tool for creating and managing digital invoices. The Service integrates with Stripe for payment processing, allowing users to:

  • Create and preview unlimited invoices for free.
  • Send invoices via email to clients by subscribing to a paid plan via Stripe.

All payments are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). We do not store, process, or transmit any card or payment information on our servers. Usage beyond the free tier requires a valid payment method authorized through Stripe. You are responsible for all fees charged by Stripe (e.g., transaction fees) and any applicable taxes.

We use Google Ads for advertising and analytics purposes, which may involve cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery and performance tracking. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Be solely responsible for all activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or suspicious activity.

3. Free Tier and Paid Usage

  • Free Tier: You may create and preview unlimited invoices at no cost. Sending invoices via email to clients requires a paid Pro plan subscription.
  • Paid Usage: The Pro plan ($9.99/month) unlocks the ability to send invoices via email. Pricing is available on our website or in the app dashboard and may change with notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled via Stripe.

We are not responsible for Stripe's billing disputes, refunds, or errors. All payment terms are governed by Stripe's agreements. You authorize us to share limited account information (e.g., usage data) with Stripe to facilitate billing.

No refunds are provided for partial months or unused invoices, except as required by law.

4. User Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of any content you upload or generate via the Service (e.g., invoice data, templates) ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process User Content solely to provide the Service (e.g., generating PDFs).

You represent and warrant that:

  • Your User Content does not violate any laws, third-party rights (e.g., IP, privacy), or these Terms.
  • You have necessary permissions for any personal data in User Content (e.g., client details on invoices).

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes, spam, harassment, or transmitting malware.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Exceed usage limits or attempt to circumvent them (e.g., multiple free accounts).
  • Use the Service in a way that imposes undue burden on our infrastructure.

We may monitor usage for compliance but do not actively filter logs or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and underlying technology (built with Ruby on Rails), is owned by Invoice Bloom or its licensors. All rights are reserved. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or business invoicing needs during your compliance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written consent. Any feedback you provide to us (e.g., suggestions) becomes our property, and we may use it without compensation.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties like Stripe and Google (for Ads). Your use of these is subject to their terms:

We are not liable for their acts, omissions, or data practices. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important. We do not collect sensitive payment data (handled by Stripe) and do not sell personal data. We use Google Ads for targeted advertising, which may track usage via cookies. For full details on data practices, see our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference).

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Invoices generated are your responsibility to review for accuracy; we are not liable for business losses from errors.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior, or $100 if no payment was made.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss), even if advised of the possibility.
  • This limitation applies to claims from breaches, negligence, or other causes.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so inapplicable provisions may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Invoice Bloom, its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your User Content, violations of these Terms, or misuse of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations, non-payment, or at our discretion (e.g., if the Service is discontinued as a side project).

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ends.
  • We may delete your User Content after 30 days (unless required to retain for legal reasons).
  • Accrued obligations (e.g., payments) survive.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiations or binding arbitration.

We encourage informal resolution first: Contact us at info@invoicebloom.io.

12. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, plus our Privacy Policy, constitute the full agreement.
  • Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
  • Assignment: We may assign these Terms; you may not without our consent.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, Stripe outages).
  • Contact: Questions? Email info@invoicebloom.io.

By using Invoice Bloom, you acknowledge reading, understanding, and agreeing to these Terms.
